Portraits, and The Male Figure
If you are interested in being apart of these new books feel free to contact me. |
|
As a result of my first published book on my pencil drawings, several photographers and models have contacted me in regards to working with them on any future projects I might be working on. Therefore since the start of 2009, I have began an agressive project of putting together two smaller pencil drawings books (each as of date, are over 100 pages.) that focus on Portraits and the other The Male Figures. 2010 will be set aside for a book on The Female Figure.

Great news.... my paperback edition to Pencil Drawings has just been accepted by Amazon.com's marketplace!
Hopefully this book now reaches more people throughout the world but I still need your support by telling friends and family about the book. However keep in mind that this 162 page book is for the mature artists because of some of the figure drawings.
Man, I should have done something like this many years ago! See what happens when you put things off you know you should be doing? LOL..... another reason why I am working on two smaller books for later this years. Which, by the way, the custom drawings for those two books are nearly done. Please keep me in your prayers that I do a fine job on these two projects. They are directed towards art students.
THE NEXT STAGE: In 6-8 weeks it should be accepted with a major distributor that buys for book sellers such as Barnes and Nobles. Once this is done, the book can be picked up and sold almost anywhere in the world. So.... if you cant find it on a book shelf at your favorite bookstore, ask them to order it.
In fact.. ask them to order a few copies to place on the shelves!!
When requesting the paperback edition to Pencil Drawings, the ISBN is 978-0-578-02528-5
Dear Lulu Author,
Congratulations, your book has been selected for listing on Amazon.com's Marketplace! As a result, your book will now be easily found on the world's largest online bookseller........

Updated April 25, 2009
Great and interesting news!
Several of my drawings as well as an article about me and my first book has been published in an Independent Art Magazine titled Project Exposures.
My work was selected for publication because they believed that I am a talented artists that deserves the opportunity to connect to their audience.
They are working hard to promote my work by circulating their magazine with the contact information to thousands of people. It will be sold on a large number of retail locations including Newbury Comics, bookstores and select supermarkets. It is also available online through their website at projectexposure.net.
Their intention is to generate revenue so they can pay artists for their submissions, establish grants, scholarships and award programs.
It is an honor to be one of selected artists to be at the forefront of Project Exposure. For getting involved and helping to continue the importance of Art Culture.
I have just received several copies of their Spring edition and it looks great!!! The drawings they selected to use for their first edition is: Mike Musick, Man in Turban, A Day At The Beach, and Grace. All drawings created and featured in my first pencil drawing book.
Please visit their website or check your local bookstore to see if they sell Project Exposure.
Now, back to my drawings for my two smaller pencil drawing books I hope to have out by the end of this year.

Art Gallery
Three
of my smaller pieces are in fact displayed
at Studio
333. in Sauslito, California. Early
in November of '07 these three drawings
were made for his gallery personally as
a result of the gallery owner contacting
me after seeing sample of my work online.
SInce then one commissioned drawings was
done for a client of his.If you are an art gallery and interested in displaying masterfully crafted pencil drawings, please contact me today. I am open to creating custom drawings that suit the need of your clients, |

Celebrity
Drawings
This
past year has been challenging as well as an interesting
one as more and more singers and actors have been
introduced to my drawings and have allowed me to
draw them.

Several of the celebrities in this list own a portrait I have created
for them, either through commissioned work or trade.
Other celebrity and Fan art can be seen in the Series Collection of the Gallery. |

Published
Work
I
had the pleasure of completing a deal with a couple
who were putting together their second LIVE MODEL BOOK,
back in 2005, and today that book can be found at fine
book stores such as Barnes & Nobel. The book is
full of live model poses for artists to use as references
and within the book are several of my drawings and a
bio of me.
Search
the LINK page on this site to find the LIVE MODEL BOOK
to learn more about how to buy their book or as your
local book store nearest you.
The
drawings that were published in their book, as well
as several others that did not make it to the final
cut can be found here, in GALLERY/FIGURE DRAWINGS. |

In
the Movies
Drawings
make for excellent props, or so I like to think.
I have give my talents to a director putting together
a low budget movie titled: Long Distant Princess.
The original drawings were to have been returned
to me once the movie was completed but the last
minute I instructed the director to give the drawings
to the young actors.
Small
Works Exhibit
2006
was the first art showing I had entered as an
adult, with The Bakersfield Museum of Arts, and
as a result of the judges choices I decided to
not enter this year. With over 280 entries a few
were selected for 'going outside the boundaries'
and one of my
drawings was chosen. There were several interesting
and very good pieces however the winners went
to the same people that one the year before. Friends
of the judges. Lesson learned here? Research who
the judges are and see what they like. |

Attention
Art Galleries!
Most
of the drawings shown in this web site have been
commissioned /for hire but please don't let that
limit your option on what I can do for your clients
needs. The purpose of this site is to show you the
style and craft I have mastered at a young age and
through the years developed it to where it is today.
I
would welcome the change to find a gallery interested
in the detailed work I offer, no matter the subject
matter. So give me a challenge, and opportunity
to show you what I can do for you. Send me a photo,
project or assignment and at no obligation to you,
I'll create the piece you are looking for. Sell
that pieces and 60% of the profits is yours....
if you show more of my work for a set period of
time.

NOTE: I have already received emails in regard to this
drawing from others who claim this drawing is homoerotic,
and asked if was my art going that direction? It
is not my intention or desire to come across that
way and I do not see the human figure as a sexual
image when it's displayed as art. My drawings are
to be viewed and enjoyed by everyone, no matter
where they fit in life and as a result I do not
want to offend anyone that may wish to view the
skills I have mastered.
So
with that in mind, if classic nudity offends you,
I suggest not viewing my Figure
Drawings and stay out of most museums of fine
quality art galleries. |
